Driving Whilst Disqualified

If you have been disqualified from driving by a court, then it is a serious criminal offence to breach a court order and drive whilst disqualified. This offence is punishable by a term of imprisonment of up to 6 months and/or a fine and a further period of disqualification from driving. Further the Court has the power to permanently confiscate your vehicle.

Whilst at first this may seem like a straightforward matter, there are in fact certain exceptional circumstances that the Court must take into consideration in deciding guilt. Given the seriousness of the offence it is important that you seek legal advice before going into Court.
